You have to bear in mind the ambiguity of the sculpting gesture: that of “to add by taking away.”

Solo così si possono “studiare” e capire le fasi intermedie, l’anatomia del pensiero, la sua logica, come si arriva da un punto all’altro, guardare i nostri lati allo specchio…
Da tener presente l’ambiguità del gesto dello scolpire: quello di “aggiungere togliendo.”
